Many thanks to Molly Dooker wines for getting us through Harvey in Houston. Fortunately we never flooded, never lost power and never ran out of The Boxer : ) It was a bit scary though as the back of our neighborhood suffered major flooding and waters are still receding. We love a good Shriraz and are big fans of your wines! Many thanks. Best regards, Stacy.

Kirsteen and Andy - 17 August, 2017 - UK

Hi Matt, we have finally made it back to Edinburgh and I just wanted to thank you for our excellent tour of Mollydooker wines a few weeks ago. It was really informative (especially the tight control of watering schedule) and very interesting to see how wines develop in the barrel over time so thank you for letting us taste like that. Look forward to seeing more of your wines available in the UK as we drank the Gigglepot & Enchanted Path in the Barossa with our friends before we left.

Thanks again for the tasting & showing us around. Very best wishes, Kirsteen (and Andy)

One of the fun facts I forgot to provide is when we were dating, I bought her the Blue Eye Boy, which had a significant meaning for her. It ended up being our special occasion wine and to date holds a lot of meaning for us. Jess is turning 40 and loves your Shiraz. We had it on our bucket list to try the Velvet Glove. Thank you for producing wonderful wines and fun stories.

[When trying the 2006 Velvet Glove] The wine was absolutely gorgeous!! We cannot give all the flavor nuances that the professional reviewers offer, but we can tell you that it still had a lot of fruit, was very mellow and complex with a beautiful long finish. We tried this same vintage in 2008, and although the 2006 was young at the time, the tannins were much more pronounced. This 2006 has obviously enjoyed it's decade of rest. This really is (was) one of the best wines I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. It held it's nose and flavor for about 2-3 hours in the glass, at which time, it became a little flat but who would leave it in their glass that long without drinking this fabulous wine! I am truly sorry that that was our last bottle because it would easily hold another 10 years.

Ron and Jo-ann – 9 May, 2017 – Vic, Aus

My wife and I visited your cellar door earlier this year and we were both delighted with the way you do your tastings. We bought one of every wine on the table plus some champagne glasses. The bread and olive oil on the side table really added to the experience. It's those little things that make a difference. The other part of Mollydooker that impressed us is your charity work both local and abroad.

While enjoying a very special bottle of the Scooter that my dad had been saving he was inspired for his costume for the parade the following day. We wanted to send it over to say thanks for the inspiration and great wine ! The bottle we had was purchase in Ottawa Canada then took a road trip to Florida US from there another road trip to California and then a cruise to Hawaii then all the way back home to Florida! It was a very well traveled bottle of wine and well worth the wait.

We opened a bottle of Girl on the Go last night to celebrate Valentine’s Day. When Nick opened it some wine rushed out and Mum and I quickly encouraged him to drink it from the bottle to enjoy it and not waste it. I wish I had my phone on me because it was incredibly funny and Nick would have been a great poster boy! We really loved the wine!

My husband and I went to Melbourne last week to watch tennis. Then we flew to Adelaide to see Bruce Springsteen. The concierge at our hotel suggested we rent a car and go to the wine country. We are not that into wine but thought it would be different for us. So we went out and found ourselves having lunch at Oscars. We wanted to not taste wine but to learn a little about the winery etc. Our waiter suggested we go to Richard Hamilton’s winery. We did. They only let you taste the wine there so we left. We went to Maxwell Mead winery. They too only let us taste so we left. That’s when my husband said,” you have one more chance and then we will head back.” That’s when we drove up to Molly Dooker. When we walked in and asked about a tour. The nice young man said you had to have a reservation and in fact they just finished their tour for that Monday. He said he would go ask. Mandy came out to greet us. She explained that she had just gotten back and that you need a reservation. She saw how disappointed we were and she said she would go check. Needless to say we put on our vests and away we went. She took us to see the grapes and on a nice short tour of the stages that go into wine making. We tasted your delicious wines and I plan on buying a bunch to bring to every party we go or when friends have us over... I just wanted to share this with you because it made our day and opened our eyes to a great area of Australia and wonderful wines. Good luck to you—I know we will be back one day!

Anita, Thanks for all the communication and help to ensure the wine reached my home safely. My son ended up picking it up for me (I gave him a bottle so you may have another Mollydooker wine lover soon). I am not sure who your supervisor is but you diligence in ensuring my wine reached me safely was really appreciated. You are very good at your job so I thank you very much. I look forward to enjoying this wine and might look at signing up for the on-going club plans. Best regards, Pete.
