2010 Enchanted Path

2010 Enchanted Path

Shiraz / Cabernet (McLaren Vale)

NWM: 96 pts
Winestate Magazine New Release Tasting - 4 stars
WA: 94 pts

‘ Very deep purple-black colored, it gives notes of ripe cassis and black cherry compote over hints of smoked bacon, dark chocolate, espresso, cedar and cloves. Very full bodied, densely packed and opulent in the mouth, it has a medium level of grainy tannins, very crisp acidity and a long finish with some mintiness coming through. Drink it 2014 to 2022+’. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, www.erobertparker.com

Reviews
Wine Spectator
'A rich mouthful of compelling blackberry, black coffee, black cherry and black pepper flavors (see a trend here?) balances on a supple, velvety background and persists into a long and expressive finish. Just delish. Drink now through 2018.' - 93 points, Harvey Steiman, www.winespectator.com

Nick’s Wine Merchants
‘A blend of 65% Shiraz and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon displaying a fantastic super saturated black crimson colour with very deep black crimson hue showing almost paint like cling to the walls of the glass. The nose presents an intense sniff of ripe blackberry, liquorice and blackcurrant followed by some toasty vanilla and spice notes. Dense and packed with voluptuous ripe fruit the palate delivers concentrated flavours of ripe blackberry, liquorice and cassis with a toasty overlay. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of blackberry, black cherry, liquorice and spicy toasted oak. Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).’ – 96 points, Nicks Wine Merchants, www.nicks.com.au
