‘The 2009 Two Left Feet is a blend of 68% Shiraz, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Merlot. Totally opaque black crimson colour with very deep black crimson hue showing good glass cling. The nose reveals aromas of blackberry, liquorice and confectionary followed by a hint of spice. Full bodied with mouthfilling opulent flavours of super ripe blackberry, liquorice, confectionary and spice followed by some strong black pepper characters on the back palate. Outstanding concentration. Fine grained balanced tannins with long aftertaste of blackberry, black pepper and liquorice. Past vintages have been my #1 crowd pleaser at my house wine parties. The blend creates an easy to drink, fruit forward wine that even white wine drinkers enjoy. The 2009 Two Left Feet has a great plum, spice and bing/cherry aromatics. On the palate the wine has notes of chocolate with velvety tannins.
