2008 Two Left Feet

Consistently one of our top-rated Lefty wines, this blend has superb aromas of butterscotch, plum, white chocolate, cherries and raspberry. Its big, unctuous texture and incredibly dense, spicy fruit give you a wonderfully rounded mouth-feel and a silky smooth finish. As in years past, the mouth-filling texture gives this wine a very long finish. Delicious!

This wine is lovely to drink now, especially after a good Mollydooker Shake. With all its complex flavours and balanced structure, this wine will cellar, for a good five or more years (all depending on the aged characters you enjoy in your wines).

The 2007 vintage was awarded 93 points by Jay Miller at The Wine Advocate and the 2006 vintage was named “Wine of the Week” by Harvey Steiman at Wine Spectator.

Herb-crusted pork tenderloin with sweet potato gnocchi, red onion jam (sautéed in a little Two Left Feet) crispy silver beet, thick-cut pancetta and browned butter. Also delicious on its own! We recommend that when you drink with friends to bring more than one bottle, or you won't get much for yourself. Enjoy!
